Win an iPhone with TechCrunch
November 2 Mike Butcher
The iPhone arrives in the UK on November 9 next week, and one lucky TechCrunch UK & Ireland reader is going to win one. Yes, you too could be the envy of all your friends, and use every plausible opportunity to get it out and casually check your messages. Not only that, but we’ll be giving away five iPod Nano’s to the runners-up. How do you enter this competition? Hold your horses! The details will be announced very soon, and the competition is open to anyone in the UK or the Irish Republic (even though the iPhone has not been announced there yet). But for now, subscribe to the email newsletter (see right-hand sidebar) and the RSS feed and as soon as we announce it, you’ll be the first to know…

Thanks for that TCUK
Only chance I will get one of these. My company want to buy one for me and pay the O2 tariff, but can you believe that UK businesses are not eligible to buy an iPhone.
Yes, that is correct - I have spoke to 3 iPhone representatives including their Press Office today. iPhones are not available as a business tariff, and as such a business cannot set up billing, nor reclaim VAT for this phone. How crap is that??

IPhone has ridicelous price… Nokias phones are better than that piece of crap.
