Sam,

The question is not when will LinkedIn buy XING, if anything, it will be the other way around. XING have purchased cember.net, the largest network for business contacts in Turkey with 280,000 members and also acquired a 100% interest in Neurona (www.neurona.com), the largest contact online business network in Spain and Latin America. So, they are the once buying.

Interesting blog yesterday about this by Thomas Power at http://www.ecademy.com/node.php?id=97503 where he points out that LinkedIn are targetting the "starched white collars" in their positioning.

However, I still can't find out where the hell the office actually is - haven't these people heard of Google local or Google Maps?
