Being based here can have its real disadvantages when trying to find local, talented people to work with. This is an ideal opportunity to get together with like minded people in the area. I would like to think we will have learnt from the things we have done using digital media, some of our mistakes, and be able to share these with other attendees during the networking and social times. The themes and workshops seem to gel well with what we are thinking and the expert views, opinions and feedback from other delegates will be invaluable. We are also trying to share our ideas at http://www.senokian.com/barking/category/launch-a-web-app/ The other web systems we are working on launching are based around online collaboration, managing data and small team working - both from end users and our own small UK based team. I also went to university at Newcastle and the foundations were just being laid [for the Sage] last time I went - it would be great to go back and see the Sage/slug completed!
