The Next Web awards get going again
February 28 Mike Butcher

The Next Web awards are back again to celebrate Europe’s startups: In collaboration with Techcrunch UK & France, Loogic & The Next Web Blog, The Next Web Conference will be organizing these awards for the second time. Vote for the most Entertaining site; Best Company & social site; Most influential Web Celebrity and Weblog; Rookie of the year and best On-stage Start-up at The Next Web Conference. Should be fun, especially as it’s run by those crazy guys in white suits you see at conferences. Very Amsterdam.

Hi Mike,
Looking forward seeing you in Amsterdam. I hope a lot of UK startups will be nominated. Last year we had 85.000 votes and already quite a success.
Hey and we’re not that crazy

Very Amsterdam indeed. Looking forward to seeing Europe’s very best represented. There no reason why UK and European startups can’t kick ass as well! Good luck to all.

The next web conference is going to rock - and I see they have the guys from Diggnation doing their show from the conference too - first time in mainland Europe.
I am definitely there - hope to see a few more Brits coming along too. See http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/381140/ for the rollcall so far.

Actually the first Diggnation show in Europe was in London last year. OK, yes, not strictly ‘mainland’…
