NextWeb - The end of the old web
April 3 Mike Butcher

NextWeb coverage: TechCrunch’s Erick Schonfeld opened the Next Web conference posing the question - what happens when you ‘blow up’ with the Web with new models? New models such as the widgetization of the web and de-centralised services which can live in many places across the web just not at home base are changing the ‘old’ web game. Advertising on the web is solidifying, but no-one knows how to make money when the massive disruption happens, and is happening right now. He also said we are seeing companies trying to tap into the market of ides, such as crowd-sourcing, and opening up your site to users, but also attempts to form markets out of ideas.

Mike - I’m on an IE 6 browser at the moment, and the formatting of the home page is screwed up. The image covers most of the text. I’ve noticed this before on other posts but not sure if its browser specific. Will check on my firefox at home, but just thought I’d point it out.
Anyone else having issues with graphics overlaying on text?

What the heck are you doing on this blog with your IE?
