TechCrunch events in Europe and the UK
May 14 Mike Butcher
As I wrote over on TechCrunch.com, I’ll be heading out to the rest of Europe over the next few weeks, looking for and writing about the startups I meet along the way. Not quite Down and Out in Paris and London, but it should certainly be interesting. But I don’t want to forget my home turf! So if you are interested in helping me co-organise a TechCrunch meetup event in the UK (with sponsors of course), then get in contact. Here’s what we are doing in Berlin, for example, with the help of a partner who arranged the venue and wrangled sponsors.

As posted on TC US, this is a great initiative Mike. Glad to see some real movement and momentum being generated in the European startup/meetup scene.
I’m working on organizing the Geneva meetup sometime in July. Any startups based in the Lake Geneva region who are interested, please let me (or Mike) know. I’ll try and chase some of you down myself!

I see a big hole in the Central Europe — Mike, why don’t we throw something together in Zagreb in near future, on in the Autumn?
We just had our Web.Start conference and it was a great success, and I think a TechCrunch event would be a great followup!

Berislav - Yeah, I know - this is just what I was able to put together quickly. Sounds good though - let’s talk on email.

Mike if you’re on Paris, don’t hesitate to call, to talk about this TechCrunch Europe thing and have some beers

Please let me know details where I can showcase my startup in London over the summer. Would love to network with like minded people, and angels.
