Top apps on the iPhone - an unscientific survey
July 21 Mike Butcher
Right now I have 2,245 people following me personally on Twitter, which is a useful number to do quick, crowd-sourced questions. So today I put it to good use by asking which applications my Twitter friends like most on the new iPhone/iPod Touch version 2.0 - or at least any iPhone than now runs the App Store. Obviously the list is not representative of the general population - many people will be downloading games much more than business productivity applications like Evernote - but it does provide an insight into a group who are probably power users of the iPhone and iPhone 3G (if you have managed to get one). The list totals 28 apps, all available via the App store on the iPhone itself.

Damn, a lot of nice apps there. However, I’ve got way too many apps from installer.app that I rely on every day/can’t live without to make the switch to 2.0 just yet (iSlsk, Agile Messenger, MyERadio, Summerboard, etc).
Guess I’ll stay in the 1.1.4 Ghetto a few weeks longer…..
