Coming out of Ireland (alongside CloudSplit, also here) is VidSchool, a site which shares revenue with teachers that upload videos about the course they teach. Here’s Sean Fee to explain:

  • Sounds like a good idea. Would you also be offering video transcripts in addition to the videos?

  • This looks like a fantastic resource for learning. Students who use Wiznotes note taking software can seamlessly integrate videos from websites like this with their notes. The more educational websites like this makes Wiznotes more valuable to students. I wish you guys much success with VidSchool!

  • Seems loike der was plenty of oirish folks at dat der conference.

Maybe a positive result of the nose diving Irish economy.

  • Thanks for the good wishes guys, it was an amazing experience and some awesome meetings coming from it. If you are looking to launch a site, this was a great platform for us.

  • Get stuck into Google Wave. I think that is the platform for teaching. Make a Wave, interact, record, use again. Take your model further. I also wonder if teachers are contractually locked into their schools and cannot participate with your model. I see this as a growth area at least, good luck guys.
